May We Be An EPIC Church

Dear Church,

I wanted to take a moment to encourage you to be a part of an exciting event. Our Saluda Baptist Association is hosting their annual E.P.I.C. (Equipping People In Churches) conference on Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 9:00 am - 11:45 am at Covenant Baptist Church.  This FREE event provides some fantastic training for churches. Whether you are actively involved in an area of our church or simply curious about how God may want you to serve, take this time to seek His will and be encouraged by others.

Light snacks will be provided as well as a children's morning camp for ages 3-5th grade. A nursery will also be offered for younger children.  Mark your calendar and plan to be a part of this training session. The Association would like an idea of how many will be attending from each church, so there will be a sign up sheet in each of our Sunday School classes.  The deadline to sign up is Sunday, July 28th.

Training Topics Include:

This ordinance is not for everyone.  This is only to be taken by those who are believers and accepted Jesus as their ultimate forgiver and leader.  To partake in this service in an unworthy state is sin. 1 Corinthians 11:27 (NLT) 27 So anyone who eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord unworthily is guilty of s
