Weekly Youth Update: 4/29-5/5

Last week in our Wednesday night Bible study, we studied the end of Colossians 1. Among other points, we saw Paul’s care for the Colossians which allowed us to see how following Christ may lead to suffering and persecution as we proclaim God’s great name. This week, we will continue by studying the beginning of Colossians 2. Join us for this great time of fellowship and growing closer to God! Bible study is from 6:30-7:30 Wednesday night and the Family Life Center opens at 6:00 for anyone wanting to hang out!

Our youth beach retreat is coming up soon! We are heading to Wilmington, North Carolina, for a weekend of fellowship, fun, learning, and relaxation! If you would like to attend, please send me an email soon so I can let you know about the requirements to attend. Our next parent/student meeting is May 14 at 6:00 pm. Important information about the retreat is below:

Although I will be out of town for seminary, I would love for you to join our church as we fellowship with our sister churches from all around the area!

This ordinance is not for everyone.  This is only to be taken by those who are believers and accepted Jesus as their ultimate forgiver and leader.  To partake in this service in an unworthy state is sin. 1 Corinthians 11:27 (NLT) 27 So anyone who eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord unworthily is guilty of s
