AC Replacement Project Is Underway

Please excuse the mess this Sunday as we are making preparations for repairing our 2nd floor AC. This is a huge project. Crews are placing new power lines under the parking lot to supply appropriate power to the church and meet building codes.  Prayers are appreciated. Services are running on regular schedule. Dirt from the digging was reallocated to low spots in our activity field.

Bus Ministry Launch

Our church is seeking to establish a bus ministry.  We are finding that there are children, youth and adults that would attend church if they had a ride. We would like to help Nathan and other ministries by joining him in using the bus to get people to church.  Pastor James, Al Harrell and Rick Eubanks will begin a rotation of drivers who will operate the bus for a Sunday and Wednesday service (one week per month.) Having more drivers would make this ministry more effective.  If you would like to be a driver you must be between the ages of 25 to 65 and have a good driving record. Drivers from the ages of 66 to 74 are required to submit a doctor’s note stating you are in good health. A commercial driver’s license is not required.  If you or someone you know would like to be placed on a bus route, please call the church office to be placed on a prospective route list.  As this ministry develops, we will be able to increase the area we serve.
