Taking Time To Pray

I wanted to post a video here for our non Facebook people of a live video from today. I was inviting our members and community to join us on the front steps at noon for the National Day of Prayer Service .  Regardless of who is in office, our responsibility/privilege is always to pray for them daily. Come by our church facebook page and throw a like, we would love to see you :)  https://www.facebook.com/homelandparkbc/ Pastor James

National Day of Prayer Service, May 4th

The mission of the National Day of Prayer Task Force is to mobilize prayer in America and to encourage personal repentance and righteousness in the culture. The National Day of Prayer has great significance for us as a nation as it enables us to recall and to teach the way in which our founding fathers sought the wisdom of God when faced with critical decisions. Mother's Day Mission Offering for The Aging

Each year our WMU (Women's Missionary Union) leads our church in remembering those who have served in ministry and now need our help. Your gift will provide housing care in our South Carolina Southern Baptist retirement communities for retired missionaries, pastors and lay leaders who obediently served the Lord. Envelopes are available in our church pew racks. An offering will be collected during our Mother's Day worship service on May 14 or you can contribute anytime during the month of May. They Obeyed. Will you? So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up. (Galatians 6:9) For More Information --> SCBMA Ministries of Aging

Engaging Our Community

Last year our church partnered with Anderson County to host a job fair. I remembered them interviewing me but I never saw the video until I stumbled upon it today. I am so thankful the county asked us to be a part of this event. May we as a church continue to be engaged and relevant in our community. - Pastor James Watch The Video on YouTube  Here
