"On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." These are the words of Jesus to a lawyer who was trying to trick him by asking which was the greatest commandment. Jesus reply was simple: love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all you mind and the second is "equal" to it, love your neighbor as yourself. I placed the parentheses around the word equal because there is a great significance in that word that I think Jesus wanted the lawyer (and us) to understand. You CANNOT obey one of these commands and not obey the other. In the current culture of strife, division, protest, political animosity, and the list goes on and on, we have to realize this truth. We cannot love our God and not love his created but equally we cannot truly love his created in the way we should without loving our God in the way He has commanded. I know we are not able to sing our praises at this time but this gives us time to focus on what truly matters and come to worship with a heart prepared to focus on the message of the songs and let it speak to our hearts.
