As the winter cold begins to dissipate and the warmth of the sun bring brighter days, there is no doubt that spring is here. I love being able to look at the grass returning to its green state in my yard, however with this new growth comes weeds. How they get there is a mystery to me, I just know I have to deal with them. To not treat my lawn with the right chemicals will result in a yard where the weeds overrun the grass. Weeds are a lot like sin. Everyone wants their relationship with God to be green, lush, and rich with life. Unfortunately, we are cursed with sin. When we allow habits, thoughts and patterns of conduct grow in our lives that are hostile to God and go against His Word, we are in danger.
