As we spend time with families and friends this summer, we must remember that we still have a purpose. We live in a world that is crying out for hope. Though we may go on vacation, there are no vacations from sharing the gospel. Our church is offering many opportunities for you to simply invite others to church. Vacation Bible School makes a tremendous impact on children, their families and our community. (VBS: June 16 - 19).  All of our worship services, bible studies and fellowships will continue to offer opportunities for you to invite someone. Ask a neighbor, co-worker, friend, and people you run into everyday to come to church. You may

April Showers Bring May Flowers

Everyone has heard the saying, "April showers bring May Flowers".  What you may not know is where the saying originated. The saying can be traced back to the 16th century.  In 1557 Thomas Tusser compiled a collection of writings called “A Hundred Good Points of Husbandry.” In his passion for caring for flowers he wrote, “Sweet April showers, Do spring May flowers”.  Our April has been full of fluctuating temperatures and many rain storms.  Many of our members who enjoy working outside with their flowers and gardens are now enjoying the growth from that weather.  Two of my favorite verses comes to mind.
