  Mark Your Calendars: Thanksgiving Soup & Sandwich Dinner One of our favorite church traditions is just around the corner! We will be gathering as a church family for our recurring Thanksgiving Soup and Sandwich Dinner on Tuesday, November 25th, at 6:00 PM. This is a special, informal time to connect, share a meal, and express our gratitude to God and to one another. It's a potluck, so please bring your favorite soup, sandwiches, or desserts to share with everyone. As we give thanks for our blessings, we also want to bless others. We ask that you please bring a canned good or other non-perishable item to help us restock our emergency food pantry for the coming months. Come and enjoy this wonderful evening of fellowship and giving!

🍳 Men's Breakfast on Saturday, March 1 at 9:00am

  Our first in forever Men's Breakfast is happening Saturday, March 1st at 9:00am! Come hang out, catch up, and build some community.  Casual dress, and we'll wrap it up in under an hour. We're bringing the biscuits, you bring your drink.  Contact Pastor James (call or text) if you're coming so we know how many biscuits to get. Invite a friend! Let's do this!

Valentine's Dinner Following Worship on February 11th

 Just a reminder of our Valentine's Dinner after church Join us  for An  Itallian Dinner of: Baked Ziti, Tossed Salad  Garlic Bread. Please bring valentines cards for our homebound and mailing list to be delivered. (9 in all) Donations to cover the cost of the food is not necessary but appreciated.

  Church-Wide Potluck Christmas Dinner Following Our AM Worship Service / Family Life Center Fellowship Hall Join us for a pre-Christmas potluck celebration! Bring your favorite dish to share as we gather together to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. The church will provide chicken for the main course. This is a great opportunity to invite friends and enjoy a delicious meal together.

Church-Wide Senior Adult Christmas Breakfast on Saturday, Dec 2

  Church-Wide Senior Adult Breakfast Honoring Our Senior Adults and Homebound Saturday, Dec 2, 2022  / (9 AM - 11 AM) / FLC Fellowship Hall It is more important than ever to honor those who are still among us. This year we are opening up the Senior Breakfast to our entire church family. 1. We would like for our members to bring cards and small little gifts to place in a bag for each of our Senior Adult and Homebound Members. 2. Please bring a canned good or non-perishable food to replenish our church missions pantry for those in our community who need help. We Will Deliver Too! If you are a homebound member or senior adult that cannot get out right now, we have volunteers that would love to deliver your breakfast. Please request your delivery by calling the church office by Wednesday, November 23rd to be placed on our delivery route for that morning (864) 296-9751 or email office@homelandparkbc.org

Thanksgiving Soup and Sandwich Dinner on Nov 21

  One of our favorite traditions is gathering as a church family for an informal Thanksgiving meal. It is a time for everyone to bring their favorite soup, sandwiches, and desserts to share. It is a great time of fellowship as we express our gratitude to God and to each other. We have this on Tuesday because the office is closed on Wednesday and there are no Wednesday night activities due to Thanksgiving.

  Church-Wide Potluck Christmas Dinner SUNDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2022 AT 11:30 AM Following Our AM Worship Service in our Family Life Center Fellowship Hall You and your family are invited to bring your best potluck dish to share as we spend a few moments before the hustle and bustle of Christmas to celebrate the birth of Jesus together with food and fellowship. The church will provide chicken for the meal. This would be a great way to invite a friend. Tell them there will be good food 🙂

Church-Wide Informal Thanksgiving Meal, Tuesday November 22

  A Thanksgiving Tradition Is Returning! This Tuesday, November 22 Our church family will meet together for an informal Thanksgiving Dinner. We are asking volunteers to bring their favorite Soups, Chili’s and Fixings to share. Lets gather together and give thanks to God for His many blessings this year. Visitors and guests are welcome to join us.

Emergency Senior Nutrition Program Offering Free Meals to Any Senior of Anderson County Who Is Over 60

Hello Church Family, I just recevied an email from our Saluda Baptist Association and I wanted to share it with you. Meals on Wheels – Anderson is thrilled to partner with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Blue Cross Blue Shield Trust along with Southern Way Catering to bring Emergency Senior Nutrition in a drive through setting. Residents in Anderson County who are over the age of 60 can show up at any of our 6 locations Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday and receive 5 meals and fresh fruit.  Caregivers can also come and get meals, but they will need the resident’s photo ID with them.. Youth Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser This Sunday For Lunch on Feb 9

Bring your family, friends and appetite to church tomorrow morning February 9  @ 11:30 for a Spaghetti Dinner following the morning worship service. The meal is free but a donation is appreciated to help our youth go to camp!
HPBC YOUTH DINNER FUNDRAISER & VALENTINE HOMEBOUND MINISTRY PROJECT Sunday, February 9 11:30 AM - Following the Morning Worship Service Plan to join us for our Youth Fundraiser and Homebound Ministry Project. The youth will be preparing and serving a meal. Donations will be accepted. We will also be collecting addressed valentine cards for our homebound members. Copies of our homebound list are in the Bible Study Office.

Spaghetti and Scripture Wednesday Night (January 30th) A Free Spaghetti Dinner Will Be Served At Wednesday Night Bible Study This Week. Joe Hansen will be treating us to a Spaghetti Dinner to accompany our Bible Study.  We begin at 6:30 pm.  This would be a great night to come out to Bible study to fill your stomach and your soul.

Last night was bittersweet for us as we said goodbye to our youth Pastor Nathan O'Neill and his wife Jody. They both have served well here and we know God will continue to bless them as Nathan goes to serve in his new ministry. Our love and prayers go with them.
