Wednesday Night Bible Study Hey Everyone, I just wanted to invite you to attend our Wednesday Night Bible Study tonight at 6:30 pm in our family life center. We are going through a video series by Dr. Tony Evans called "Detours" which focuses on the life of Joseph. Tonight speaks to forgiveness and it is POWERFUL!  If forgiveness is something you struggle with in giving or receiving, this is a session for you. Our students will also be meeting at the same time. Wedneday Night Adult Bible Study Tonight at our Wednesday Night Bible Study we will be studying the life of Joseph and the detours that God used to fulfill his destiny. This is a video course by Dr. Tony Evans. We will follow up the lesson with discussion, application and prayer. We being at 6:30pm in the fellowship hall. Our youth ministry also meets seperately at 6:30pm in the gym. (Grades 6-12)

Wednesday Night Bible Study - Titus In this video series Chip Ingram unpacks the book of Titus. He challenges us to display the gospel in our lives through doing good. We do good works not to earn God’s favor, but as a result of God’s favor. When the gospel has truly taken root in our lives, it produces t he fruit of godliness. As we pass these things on to future generations, the Church stands in bright contrast to the darkness of the world. Pastor James will enhance the presentation with study and application for what is presented. Note: We will be moving from the Choir Room to the Fellowship Hall beginning in October for the duration of this study. The time is still 6:30 PM so come ready to learn with an open Bible and heart.

Is Heaven On Your Mind? Beginning this week our Wednesday Night Adult Bible Study will begin a series on Heaven. This study is written by Randy Alcorn who wrote this to give believers not only hope for what those who have gone before us are experiencing, but for us to be mindful of our need to accept and share the Biblical message of Heaven. In this age of “self-awareness” many do not know what the Bible says about Heaven.. More and more people actually deny the very existence of Heaven. This study will answer Biblical questions like, “What is heaven like?’, “What will marriage, family and friendships be like?” and many more topics. This study will begin on January 10th at 6:30 pm in the choir room.   During this first week, Pastor James will be giving an overview of the study and give everyone an opportunity to order study guides for the course for $6 each . We could easily talk for hours about the way things have progressed in the world over the years. Through technology we are more connected to our world than ever before. Before the “cable” generation, we watched three or four channels on the television, received our news from the daily paper, 6 or 11 o'clock news. If we wanted to hear what other people thought about an issue we would read the editorial section of the newspaper. Fast forward to today where we have more channels than anyone could possibly watch on our television. We get our news whenever we want it from 24/7 news channels, our computers, social media,and even our phones. If there is ANYTHING our world does NOT lack, it is the availability of information. Our challenge today is to sort through all the noise and listen to the news that is important, to base our life on CREDIBLE GODLY Instruction. How do we cut through the noise? Jonah is most famous for being swallowed whole and kept alive in a large fish for three days then being vomited from that fish. While that is amazing, it is only part of the story. Jonah was a man that wrestled with doing what he wanted over what God wanted. The world today needs to hear the message of this book. God is in control, God loves us and God judges us to bring us to Himself.
