I am so excited to be meeting in person on Sunday after only meeting virtually for the past two weeks on facebook live. I ran across this thought the other day. Moses wrote in Genesis about creation this gem: Genesis 4:26 NLT When Seth grew up, he had a son and named him Enosh. At that time people first began to worship the Lord by name. This is the first time since creation and the fall of man where worship was recorded as happening.  This is the “genesis” of how and why we worship today.  We do not worship an unnamed impersonal God.  We worship “Yahweh” (“I Am”)!  He is our creator, Heavenly father.  Worship is not an obligation, it is a privilege! Hey Everyone! I wanted to take a second to give you a little "behind the scenes" look at our Praise Team. We are not trying to "make it" or be a contestant on a musical reality show. We are simply using the resources God has given us to serve and worship Him. Hopefully, others join to worship Him as well. This was our prayer before the first note was struck Sunday, "God, the music we play today was created by you and for you. May the words, instruments, and harmonies be pleasing to you. May it direct our gaze and hearts to you this morning." Whether from the stage or from the pew, all worship is for Him! Use your voices and abilities from the pews or the stage.   Sunday morning we begin a new preaching series through the book of 1 Thessalonians. The concept of life after death is foundational to the Christian faith. Whether it is the warmth of feeling the light of Christ forgiving you of all your sins and gaining a “Start Over” or the dull assurance that a loved one's funeral  is not the end. As stated in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”. This verse emphasizes that when someone places their faith in Jesus, they are regenerated, or born again into a new life. This new life isn't something Christians wait for after death; it starts the moment they say "yes" to Christ.  1 Thessalonians was written by the Apostle Paul to a young church filled with people who were early in their faith.   Embark on a heartwarming interactive Christmas Celebration on December 3rd at 10:30 AM. Join us as we adorn our sanctuary with festive decorations and discover the beautiful meaning of Christmas through the nativity, the holly and the ivy, an advent wreath and lighting of our Christmas tree. Also, experience the majesty of God through singing carols and narrations. A special guest will bring joy to our children, making this service an unforgettable occasion. Those who are involved in the program, please mark your calendars for a dress / technical rehearsal on Saturday, December 2nd at 4 PM.

What better Sunday to gather together to worship Jesus than on His birthday?  Come join us with your family for a casual abbreviated altogether service that will celebrate God's most loving gift to us.

  We will have a Christmas choir and we need you!! The Christmas Choir will sing in the Sunday service on December 18th. (Practice time will be announced at a later date.) So, please bring your voices and help me fill the choir this year.  - Donna

  Come join us for a Drive-In Church Worship Experience on Sunday, October 30th. We will be joining together in our back parking lot for worship on the grounds. Participate from behind your dashboard or bring your best tailgating setup. The service will begin at 11:00 am Following the service you are invited to join us with your food for a tailgate fellowship right in the parking lot. Dress code is casual and this is a great opportunity to invite a friend to. In case of cold or rainy weather we will move the services into the Sanctuary

  Greetings Dear Church, I pray you had a great Christmas season as we celebrated the gift of Jesus (God with us)! The gift of salvation from our sins is the greatest gift anyone could ever receive. Also, thank you to our children who sang last Sunday and Rev. Michael Kinard who proclaimed God's word. Tomorrow we jump back into the book of Revelation as we study Jesus' letter to the church at Laodecia. Jesus warns us of the dangers in living a lukewarm life as well as a call to return to Him. He loves you and I too much to be halfway committed to anything. Worship begins at 10:30. For several years local churches have been meeting together for prayer at Anderson University.  This year due to "social distancing guidelines" due to the Coronavirus, the meeting has been moved to an outside venue.  Bring your lawn chairs and come join other brothers and sisters in Christ from this area for a moving prayer experience. Last week was an amazing time for our church as we got the blessing of worshiping together in our sanctuary.  "Social Distancing Guidelines" were followed and everyone enjoyed being together.  We continue our reopening phase this Sunday with the same guidelines we used last week.   Here is our three-phase plan for reopening our church and resuming schedules. We look forward to worship with you either in person or on facebook live , this Sunday @ 10:30 am.

Last Sunday on May 17th, we had the priviledge of worshiping together again in our Sanctuary after two months. While we took many precautions, it was great to be together again.  Pastor James preached on the reasons we should never take attending church for granted again.  Watch the sermon here. On Mother's day we celebrate all the women God has placed in our lives to guide us, teach us to love and make us stronger. Our service begins at 11 am and parking begins @ 10:45 am. We ask that everyone stay in their cars. The service will last approximately 30 minutes. All are invited to attend.

Now more than ever, we need people we can trust to lead us through this time of fear and uncertainty. We must remember that God is at the top of the list of who we trust.
