Weekly Youth Update: 2/23-3/1

Last week’s Bible study featured an unplanned but great discussion on the reality of hell and the sacrificial death of Jesus to forgive sin and provide salvation. This week we will pick back up with the final Parables of Jesus Bible study. Bible study starts at 6:30 and lasts until 7:30. The Family Life Center opens at 6:00 pm for anyone wanting to hang out. We hope to see you there! Also, please check our Facebook page tomorrow for any potential schedule changes due to weather!

We are excited to announce an upcoming outreach opportunity! Saturday, April 4, is our first 5-on-5 basketball tournament! We are partnering with Greater Love Bible Church to host the tournament and to minister to the community.

The tournament will be from 8 am – 4 pm that Saturday. You must be between ages 12-17 and must register your teams on Friday, April 3, to be eligible to play. A time will be announced soon for when to come and register on April. To register to play, you must show a report card with either a school ID or driver’s license. Please pay attention to these details with more important information coming soon!

If you have any questions about Bible study or the basketball event, please email me at jason@homelandparkbc.org!

This ordinance is not for everyone.  This is only to be taken by those who are believers and accepted Jesus as their ultimate forgiver and leader.  To partake in this service in an unworthy state is sin. 1 Corinthians 11:27 (NLT) 27 So anyone who eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord unworthily is guilty of s
