Today marks 25 years since the tragic events of September 11, 2001. A quarter of a century later, we pause to remember and honor the innocent lives lost, the extraordinary bravery shown in the darkest hours, and the enduring strength of those who survived. As a church family, we join together in prayer: For the families who carry the quiet ache of losing a spouse, parent, child, sibling, or friend. May the God of all comfort wrap them in enduring peace and surround them with love. For our first responders and emergency personnel serving in our communities today. We pray for their safety, wisdom, and strength each time they answer the call to run toward danger. For our service members stationed here and abroad. We ask for divine protection, courage, and safe returns home as they stand watch on our behalf.
