Weekly Youth Update: 7/20-7/26

Last week, our Wednesday night Bible study focused on what it meant to be truly united with Jesus from Matthew 12:46-50. We discussed that belonging to Jesus begins through turning from sin and trusting in His life, death, and resurrection for salvation. The evidence that we belong to Him is a that our hearts our changed and we desire to please and worship Him in our daily lives. This was a great reminder for us about basic foundations in our relationship with Jesus!

This week, we are moving are meeting time on Wednesday night outside for a night of fun and messiness! Wear clothes that can get wet and messy and bring a towel and a change of clothes! We will meet Wednesday night from 6:30-7:30 in the Family Life Center. See you there!

This ordinance is not for everyone.  This is only to be taken by those who are believers and accepted Jesus as their ultimate forgiver and leader.  To partake in this service in an unworthy state is sin. 1 Corinthians 11:27 (NLT) 27 So anyone who eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord unworthily is guilty of s
