The Homeland Park youth just finished an awesome week!
Our friend, Brock Bass, shared his personal testimony and taught from Matthew
7:21-23. He really challenged our students to examine their lives and hearts to determine if they have trusted in Jesus and His work alone for salvation
or if they are seeking to earn salvation through good works. We are really
seeing God starting to mold and transform hearts!
On Saturday, we had our hike to Station Cove Falls! Some
of our students saw their very first waterfall and all of us were able to better
understand God’s magnificent power in creation! We are gathering some pictures
from the event and I’ll post them as soon as possible!
This week, we will begin our Wednesday night study of
Colossians. We will study Colossians 1:1-14 and some of the background around the
writing of the letter. The Family Life Center will open at 6:00 for anyone
wanting to hang out and Bible study will last from 6:30-7:30. We hope to see
you there!
Finally, the last details are being finalized for the beach
retreat to Wilmington and I will provide an update with a separate post within the next week!
